Grow Indoors with Privacy and Precision

Indoor Growing Systems

Indoor growing allows the grower complete control over their plants’ environment. To take advantage of this several specialized indoor growing systems have been developed including aeroponic and hydroponic systems.

For plants to grow they have several requirements,  a medium to grow in, nutrients, and sunlight. Outside in the natural environment these things are available in the abundance; for plants grown indoors however these elements must be provided. Since everything, including the nutrient mixture and light,  a plant needs is provided artificially it can be specially formulated for whatever its being grown. Plants or herbs grown indoors under controlled condition often grow faster and produce yields larger than anything that is possible outside.

To assist gardeners who would like to grow indoors there are several systems that have deen developed. These indoor growing systems consist of well defined specifications for materials to use and insight on methods that work best. The different grow room systems are often differentiated by the growth mediums they use and include soil methods, hydroponics, and aeroponics.

Soil or Terrestrial Cultivation

Indoor soil cultivation uses  the same soil and fertilizer that is used for outdoor growing. Growing in indoors in soil is very similar to growing outdoors and should be easy for gardeners to pick up quickly. Many growers use indoor cultivation to allow their seedlings to sprout early in the season before being transplanted outside.

Hydroponic or Soilless Gardening

Hydroponic growing methods differentiate themselves by using only nutrient rich water as a grow medium. This gives gardeners the opportunity to specially craft and deliver the precise nutrients their plants needs on a custom schedule. There are many different types of hydroponic systems that allow for growing of a range of plants and herbs.

Aeroponic Systems

Aeroponic systems supply all the needed water and nutrients to plants via mist or spray. They do not utilize any growing medium, instead suspending a plants roots system in space. Specially formulated nutrient solution is sprayed onto the root system and the mist ensures that plants also receive an optimum amount of oxygen.
